Cardiff Met Archers today announced a further two signings for their 2020-21 roster.
Both Sara Jorgensen and Kim Kheing will make the forthcoming season their third consecutive season with the club.
“Sara & Kim have been such an integral part of our programme in only their third season with us,” said Head Coach Stef Collins.
“They have been very committed to both their academic and basketball achievements, and they continue to improve season by season.
“They will give us a great boost at the guard position as capable scoring threats.”
Jorgensen recently graduated with a Masters from Cardiff Met and is now pursuing a PhD.
She is looking forward to returning to the court and continuing to develop women’s sport in Wales.
“Archers are the only welsh team that compete in the highest women’s league in the UK,” said Jorgensen. “We are therefore at the forefront of the movement and development of women’s sport in Wales.”
Kim Kheing is also looking forward to returning, adding, “I am really excited to get back with everyone and just have some sort of normality back. Most of all, I am looking forward to putting my jersey back on and playing.”
Jorgensen and Kheing become the third and fourth Archers signing, joining previous signings Sarah Wagstaff and Laura Shanahan.
