Carr crowned Molten WBBL Player of the Month

Sevenoaks Suns’ ace Cat Carr may have only just been pipped for the MVP award at the recent WBBL Cup Final, but her exploits have not gone unnoticed after she was rewarded with the Molten WBBL Player of the Month award.

She was on fire throughout January as she helped Suns to take five wins from their five games, playing a leading role in their historic Cup Final success with a superb and near triple-double of 14 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds.

It's a Sevenoaks Suns Basketball Club awards double! Congrats to Cat!

That was typical of her contribution throughout the month, as she averaged a performance efficiency valuation of 22.4. That was based on a highly productive 17 points, 7.8 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game.

It’s the first monthly award of the 2019-20 campaign for Carr, although her glittering career has been littered with gongs in previous seasons, with this latest honour helping to cement her status as a legendary WBBL figure.
